Keep or Destroy is a full service production company that develops and produces narrative, documentary, and commercial content. In addition to films currently streaming on BET and as part of a special exhibition at The Whitney Museum, Keep or Destroy has premiered their work at dozens of film festivals including Tribeca, Cinequest, Raindance, Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, Provincetown Film Festival, Aspen Shortsfest, Woodstock Film Festival, and many more. Their projects have received numerous accolades, including wins for Best Narrative Short, Best Comedy, and the Documentary Short Jury Award at the New Orleans Film Festival. Select collaborations include projects produced with Netflix, Fujifilm and Queen Latifah's Queen Collective. The Keep or Destroy team has also proudly served on the Narrative Shorts Jury for the Charlotte Film Festival. Recent and upcoming projects include The Disaster Dreams, featuring Edie Falco, Pedro Pascal and Judith Light, Silent Partner, the feature directorial debut of lauded indie cinematographer Eric Branco, and Untitled (American Story), a feature film Executive Produced by Alan Cumming and made in partnership with ARRI that explores the meaning of belonging in a cruel portrait of today’s America.

Team

Lianne Becker is a multi-genre artist and activist who founded her Brooklyn-based production company, Keep or Destroy, in 2014. The vast scope of her work spans narrative, documentary and episodic projects that include her 2020 directorial debut, The Disaster Dreams, which features Edie Falco, Bobby Cannavale, Judith Light and more in an exploration of the frightening dreams of NYC teenagers during the early days of the pandemic. Lianne's work in the art and activism sphere includes serving as the Producing Director for Developing Artists, a NYC educational arts organization dedicated to empowering and growing future leaders in social justice via the performing arts. Recently, Lianne produced Wild Darlings Sing the Blues, a feature film that follows a collective of black women and non-binary activists as they embark on a pilgrimage from New York to build a healing sanctuary on a former plantation in Virginia.

Collin Meath is a producer, actor and director who has been working in New York for over 12 years. His work spans independent content, network and cable television and digital media in a wide array of capacities. Collin has produced and directed multiple narrative short films that have premiered at Academy Award qualifying festivals throughout the world, as well as the award winning documentary Born Balearic. He appeared onscreen in the celebrated indie feature Ovum, in multiple television shows, and as a regular cast member of the first season of Steven Soderbergh's The Knick. Collin is deeply interested in uplifting and elevating the disability community in his work on screen.

Benjamin Drew Thompson is a screenwriter and filmmaker based in Brooklyn. His works have been screened at numerous film festivals around the country, and have been nominated for several awards, including winning Best Comedy Writing at the Baltimore New Media Festival. In 2017 he was featured as part of the 30under30 in NYC, highlighting the work of promising filmmakers under 30. Ben has also mentored emerging screenwriters in the development of their short screenplays and pilots as the Development Director of the New York New Stories Screenplay Contest. These films include the multi-award winning drama The Squirrels in the Attic, Samurai Sword, and Mancha which premiered at LALIFF last summer. Ben's work is focused on utilizing dark humor to heal generational trauma for creatives and audiences alike.
